I recently had the absolute pleasure of meeting Corrina Lowe, from Chambers Farm Flowers.
I'll be honest, I had to try my hardest to be all grown up and sensible, because Corrina is one of those people that I really admire. She knows her stuff!!! and boy, is she passionate about it.
Corrina has shared some fantastic tips with us, to help you find your perfect flowers for your wedding day:
Most flowers sold in the UK are grown and imported from all over the globe, in fact less than 10% of them are grown here in Britain. Increasingly Brides are asking where their flowers have come from and requesting British flowers in their bouquets.
A rise in environmental awareness has played its part in this change but also British flowers have received some really good press in recent years. A team of British flower growers ‘Flowers From The Farm’won Gold medal with their first Chelsea garden in 2018 and the Royal wedding of Harry and Meghan certainly helped to showcase what British flowers can do, with most of their blooms having been grown in the Royal parks.
If you are considering British flowers for your wedding or want to know more here’s my handy guide to choosing British:
